I. Scope, Parties, and Formation of Agreement
1.1 This User Agreement applies to the FoxDub browser extension, the FoxDub official website, accounts associated with the extension, memberships, simultaneous interpretation durations, and payment services. FoxDub is an auxiliary tool for understanding legally accessible video content, primarily providing translation and dubbing of existing subtitles, as well as real-time recognition, translation, bilingual subtitles, and translated voice playback for web audio. Features such as desktop clients, voice cloning, and video hosting that are not actually provided to you do not become part of this service content due to the wording of this Agreement.
1.2 "FoxDub" and "we" in this Agreement refer to the operator of the FoxDub service; "you" includes registered users and visitors using relevant functions within the scope permitted by law.
1.3 Please read this Agreement and the Privacy Policy before registering, purchasing, or initiating related services. Merely browsing the agreement page does not indicate that you have agreed to pay, auto-renew, process sensitive personal information, or transfer data across borders. Matters requiring explicit selection, separate consent, or additional authorization under applicable law shall be completed through independent notifications and selections corresponding to the respective functions; this Agreement cannot replace these procedures.
1.4 This Agreement, orders confirmed by you, and product descriptions explicitly applicable together constitute specific service agreements. Mandatory legal provisions apply preferentially; established orders are based on the price, benefits, and term confirmed at the time of purchase. General promotional materials cannot be interpreted as promises of unlimited, permanent, or absolutely fault-free performance; similarly, we cannot unilaterally reduce the core benefits of paid orders through subsequent announcements.
II. Eligibility and Minors
2.1 You should possess the civil capacity required to conclude and perform the corresponding service contract and comply with the laws of your location. Persons with limited civil capacity shall use the service with the permission and guidance of their guardians; minors purchasing paid services must obtain guardian consent in accordance with the law. We will not exclude the protection afforded to minors and guardians by law solely based on the age you fill in or buttons you click.
2.2 FoxDub is not a product specifically designed for children. Do not submit personal information of minors under the age of fourteen to this service unless valid guardian consent has been obtained and necessary protection procedures applicable have been completed. When involving meetings, private conversations, courses, and restricted content belonging to third parties, you should confirm that you have a legal basis to receive, process, and transmit such content as necessary.
2.3 You should use software from legal sources, compatible browsers, and normal network environments. Extensions modified without authorization, unknown installation packages provided by others, or unofficial payment pages may pose risks to your account or property. The scope of services and liabilities we provide are based on officially released products and authorized service channels, but this does not exempt us from statutory liabilities we should bear.
III. Key Concepts and Functional Boundaries
3.1 "Subtitle Dubbing" typically reads existing subtitles or subtitle requests from the target video, translates them, synthesizes translated voice, and attempts to synchronize with the playback rhythm. "Simultaneous Interpretation" processes the audio of the selected web tab after you initiate recognition, generating recognized original text, translated subtitles, and optional dubbed voice. The input, permissions, and billing methods for these two functions differ, and benefits from one cannot substitute for the other.
3.2 Supporting a certain website means the product has corresponding adaptation or general processing capabilities; it does not imply that the website authorizes, sponsors, or guarantees FoxDub, nor does it guarantee that every video on that website can be processed. Missing subtitles, access restrictions, login requirements, encrypted media, live streaming delays, regional restrictions, and website redesigns may all affect functionality. FoxDub does not provide services to bypass paywalls, crack digital rights management, or obtain content you do not have the right to access.
3.3 Recognition, translation, and synthesis results belong to automatically generated auxiliary content. Real-time drafts may be revised before sentences are finalized; translations, sentence breaks, timelines, timbres, and speech rates may contain deviations. Descriptions such as "real-time" and "synchronized" in the interface describe processing methods and do not promise zero latency, word-for-word accuracy, or fixed speed under all network conditions.
IV. Accounts, Credentials, and Device Usage
4.1 Registration and login are based on email and corresponding verification processes. You should provide an email address that you legally control and can receive verification codes to, and properly safeguard passwords and verification codes. We may reject temporary emails, abnormal code issuance, and obvious automated registration requests; such measures are used to reduce spam registration and abuse risks and do not represent our ability to verify the full true identity of the email user.
4.2 You must not lend, rent, batch-sell accounts, or provide login credentials to third parties. Do not reuse the same password across different websites. Upon discovering abnormal logins, devices being kicked out, credential leaks, or payments made by non-authenticated persons, you should promptly stop affected operations, change passwords, and submit verification requests through formal customer service channels. We will not require you to provide complete passwords, verification codes, or payment institution login information via public comments or unofficial chat windows.
4.3 The number of currently online devices per account is capped, usually at five; the service determines online status through random device identifiers and heartbeats. When the cap is exceeded, relevant devices may be logged out. This cap is not an authorization for multiple people to share an account, nor is it a promise that each device receives independent free balance. Disconnected networks, sleep modes, caching, and state synchronization may cause brief discrepancies in display; states after logout or password changes may also require synchronization to complete.
4.4 Email login status, membership status, AI simultaneous translation duration, and order benefits are based on valid records of account services. We shall retain the ability to verify and correct anomalous records; we shall not expand deductions solely due to display errors on the user side, nor refuse to verify existing server records on the grounds of lacking screenshots from the user side. When submitting screenshots or logs, users may redact personal information unrelated to the issue.
V. Permissions, Operations, and Session Termination
5.1 The extension may need to read video, subtitles, subtitle requests, and related media information from the target page, utilize the browser's tab audio capture capability, save local settings, and connect to recognition, translation, synthesis, and account services. For detailed data processing scope, see the Privacy Policy. Installation authorization only permits implementing already disclosed functions and does not authorize us to monitor unrelated browsing activities, secretly record continuously, or obtain arbitrary files from other applications.
5.2 Simultaneous interpretation takes the page actively started by you as the processing object. The current product performs cleanup upon relevant full-page refreshes, navigation, switching to other pages, or session termination; in-site jumps on certain pages also terminate sessions. Please confirm the end based on actual status and the "Stop Recognition" operation; do not judge that the server connection has disconnected solely based on whether pop-ups are obscured, whether the video is muted, or whether the page is paused.
5.3 The extension may adjust video volume, playback speed, pause, and resume states to achieve translation following playback. Rhythms vary across different playback modes; please select as needed before use. Webpage controls, browser autoplay restrictions, and other extensions may interfere with each other. You may stop the function, revoke corresponding browser permissions, or uninstall the extension; these actions are distinct from canceling auto-renewal authorization in payment institutions.
VI. AI Content Accuracy and Use Judgment
6.1 Voice recognition may be affected by accents, speech speed, overlapping voices from multiple speakers, background noise, and audio source quality; translation may omit negations, numerical values, context, proper nouns, or cultural meanings; voice synthesis may misread, over-read, under-read, or lag. We will strive to improve the service, but we do not guarantee factual correctness of content, equivalence of translation, or approval by the original author based on the fluency of synthesized voice or completeness of displayed subtitles.
6.2 Medical, legal, investment, emergency, safety operations, and other important decisions shall be based on original content and qualified professional advice; reliance solely on FoxDub’s automated output is prohibited. This Service does not provide professional appraisal, legal representation, investment advisory, or security guarantees, nor does it assume any obligation to verify the authenticity of external videos. This usage disclaimer does not affect liabilities arising by law due to our own fault.
6.3 Before publicly disseminating, commercially using, citing for teaching purposes, re-dubbing, or creating new works from the output, you must verify its accuracy and obtain necessary rights. The scope of use for synthesized outputs is simultaneously subject to restrictions imposed by the rights of the original content, the effective terms of third-party services used, and applicable laws. Purchasing a membership or duration does not equate to purchasing video copyright, voice trademark authorization, or unrestricted commercial dissemination licenses.
VII. Memberships, Duration, and Gifted Benefits
7.1 Current subtitle dubbing primarily utilizes valid VIP benefits; AI simultaneous translation consumes account-available duration, with no additional VIP threshold set for related translated dubbing. Product pages and orders shall separately display membership duration, paid duration, gifted duration, currency, and actual payment amount. The applicable conditions for free trials, limited-time offers, and gift activities shall be explicitly disclosed prior to participation and cannot be retroactively reduced by unpublished internal rules.
7.2 VIP duration and AI duration balance are distinct benefits. Expiration of VIP does not automatically indicate that the AI duration balance is cleared, nor does depletion of the AI balance automatically cancel a VIP that is still within its validity period. Currently marked as “never expiring” gifted durations shall not become void due to the expiration of ordinary memberships; they are retained within the scope of normal service operation and should not be interpreted as a guarantee of permanent use regardless of whether the service is legally terminated.
7.3 Membership expiration time is determined by order agreements and server records. Current monthly memberships adopt the calendar month rule in Beijing Time, potentially calculated based on the last day of that month at month-end; the actual deduction time for auto-renewal is determined by the payment institution’s subscription arrangement, and there may be differences in time zones and settlement times. Effective memberships typically add the newly purchased duration to the original term; abnormal orders shall be verified against actual payments and benefit ledgers.
7.4 Account duration has capacity limits. When gifted duration cannot be credited temporarily due to balance and pending advances or reserved benefits, pending benefits may form; one cannot infer that benefits have been lost solely because the display has not increased; you may apply for verification. Unless otherwise provided by law or explicitly stated in the order, memberships, durations, and gifted benefits do not constitute cash accounts and do not inherently support withdrawal, transfer, or exchange for other goods.
VIII. AI Simultaneous Interpretation Timing and Prepaid Settlement
8.1 AI duration is billed based on the duration of recognized sessions that have been authorized to start, not merely on actual speaking time, the number of valid subtitles, or the playback duration of translated voice. When video is paused, silent, waiting for translation, or when dubbing is turned off, as long as the recognition connection remains active, the session may still incur duration charges. Stopping recognition and completing server cleanup is the effective method to end such timing.
8.2 To prevent balance overdrafts, the service pre-allocates a segment of duration from the available balance after authentication and preparation succeed, and then re-pre-allocates as needed; currently, each transaction is usually capped at six hundred seconds, and re-pre-allocation is requested before exhaustion. The initial pre-allocation causing a temporary decrease in available balance does not mean the entire amount has been actually consumed. Settlement occurs upon session end based on records and frozen end states, with unconsumed portions returned according to applicable rules.
8.3 When the same account is used simultaneously on different devices, the recognition sessions on each device consume the balance of the same account respectively. Abnormal sudden audio or inputs submitted exceeding normal real-time speed may participate in billing based on corresponding audio processing load and trigger rate limiting, rejection, or cessation; one must not utilize accelerated streaming, replay requests, or forged end statuses to misuse the service or evade billing.
8.4 Network interruptions, device crashes, or service restarts may delay settlement, returns, and interface updates; the server will remedy this based on session and pre-allocation records. Page merging, rounding, and query scopes of usage records are merely presentation methods and do not alter the actual deduction amounts in the original ledger. For suspected over-deductions, unreturned pre-allocations, or duplicate deductions, you may provide approximate time, account, and device details to request a review; we shall handle and correct confirmed errors based on verifiable records.
IX. Purchases, Payments, and Delivery
9.1 Before confirming purchase, you shall verify the account, product, payment channel, currency, and amount. Pages may display different quotes due to region, membership status, price updates, and promotional conditions; the actual transaction is subject to the valid order finally confirmed by you and verified by the server side. We shall not arbitrarily increase already confirmed prices based on display discrepancies on the browser side; exchange rates or fees charged by payment institutions shall be verified according to their actual rules.
9.2 Current payments are mainly completed via PayPal; payment channels not yet open do not constitute a promise of availability. You shall complete necessary approvals on the payment institution’s secure page. FoxDub does not require obtaining full bank card numbers, security codes, or payment institution passwords. One-time orders have a payment time limit, currently usually fifteen minutes after creation; orders exceeding this time limit may be closed, and repurchasing requires re-confirming the quote.
9.3 Browser redirection back to the official website, display of an approval page, or order creation alone does not prove that funds have been settled. We distribute benefits based on trusted payment status and internal ledgers, and handle payment notifications and compensation. In cases of delayed arrival, duplicate payments, or deducted funds without issued benefits, verification through customer service should be conducted; do not repeatedly pay to prompt page refreshes. Errors caused by us shall be corrected, supplemented, or refunded in accordance with the law.
X. Monthly Auto-Renewal and Cancellation
10.1 Continuous monthly subscriptions differ from one-time membership purchases. A periodic deduction arrangement shall only be established if you actively choose continuous monthly subscription, explicitly check the corresponding renewal instructions, and complete authorization with the payment institution. Clicking agreement links, ordinary login, or purchasing other goods cannot substitute for auto-renewal authorization. First-period, subsequent cycle prices, gifted benefits, and cancellation methods shall be disclosed prior to approval.
10.2 Auto-renewal deducts payments according to the authorized payment institution’s subscription plan until effectively canceled; actual deduction status and next deduction date can be viewed in personal bills and the payment institution. We shall provide necessary renewal reminders and change notifications in accordance with the law. When prices or core renewal conditions undergo substantial changes requiring re-confirmation by law, valid confirmation shall be obtained, and broad modification clauses in this Agreement cannot be relied upon to expand deduction authorization.
10.3 You may cancel via the subscription management entry provided in your personal bill on the official website, or revoke via the automatic payment management of the actual payment institution such as PayPal. If official website operations fail, please verify the authorization status at the payment institution or contact support. Logging out, uninstalling extensions, deleting cookies, ceasing to watch videos, or canceling the account does not automatically revoke established payment authorizations. Renewal cancellation shall be confirmed prior to account deletion.
10.4 Cancellation typically stops future cycle deductions that have not yet occurred; completed current period payments, processing deductions, and corresponding benefits shall be verified against actual settlement status and refund rules. We shall not interpret cancellation operations as default abandonment of remaining membership periods already purchased, nor do we promise that payment institutions can withdraw every deduction already in process.
XI. Refunds, Revocation, and Payment Disputes
11.1 Refunds for digital services shall be handled in conjunction with applicable laws, valid descriptions on the purchase page, delivery status, and actual degree of use. We do not exclude statutory rights of revocation, return, refund, and compensation by claiming “virtual goods are non-refundable,” “use constitutes waiver of all consumer rights,” or any clause in this Agreement. The cooling-off period prescribed by your location and its lawful exceptions apply in accordance with the law.
11.2 Duplicate deductions, unauthorized transactions, erroneous collections, failure to deliver, or serious defects in the service attributable to us may all be grounds for verification application. You may provide order number, payment time, payment channel, and problem description; we shall only require evidence necessary to resolve the issue and shall not require disclosure of complete payment vouchers or leakage of account passwords to unknown third parties.
11.3 For refunds regarding delivered but unused, partially used, discounted combinations, or attached benefits, the refund amount and benefit handling shall be determined in accordance with the law. When validly agreed upon by both parties and permitted by law, reasonable calculation may be made based on the actually unfulfilled portion, and penalties shall not be added based on undisclosed algorithms; refunds resulting from our fault shall not impose unreasonable additional costs on you. Whether gifted durations are adjusted after refund shall be handled fairly considering gift conditions, usage status, and legal equity.
11.4 Initiating payment institution disputes, refunds, or chargebacks does not automatically prove breach by either party. When necessary, we may suspend issuance of benefits corresponding to disputed transactions, prevent duplicate delivery, and preserve necessary ledger evidence; benefits obtained through other valid orders shall not be confiscated without basis. Refund arrival speed, original path return restrictions, and exchange rate differences are handled according to payment institutions and applicable law, and final results shall be queryable by you.
XII. Content Rights and Limited Processing Authorization
12.1 You and the original right holders retain rights to subtitles, audio, video, and other content enjoyed under the law. To execute functions you select, you authorize us to read, transmit, transcribe, translate, synthesize, temporarily cache, and return relevant content within necessary scopes, with processing participated by necessary service providers listed in the Privacy Policy. This authorization is limited to fulfilling such functions and necessary security, billing, and troubleshooting.
12.2 The foregoing authorization does not include the sale of your subtitle records, their use for targeted advertising, the establishment of unrelated browsing profiles, or unauthorized use for general model training, nor does it grant us a perpetual, unlimited, or freely resalable license to your content. The actual practices regarding caching, diagnostic logs, and third-party processing are described in the Privacy Policy. Any new uses of content must have an applicable legal basis and fulfill the required notification and consent obligations.
12.3 You shall ensure that you have the right to process the input content; the fact that a video can be played on the page does not necessarily mean that you have the right to publicly disseminate the translation or voiceover. When involving others' portraits, voices, trade secrets, private communications, or confidential courses, you shall obtain the necessary permissions. We cannot obtain authorization from these third parties solely based on your agreement to this Agreement, nor can we substitute your declarations for our own legally mandated obligations.
XIII. Acceptable Use and Prohibited Conduct
13.1 You shall not use the Service to infringe upon others' copyright, privacy, personal information, trade secrets, or other lawful rights and interests; you shall not process or disseminate content prohibited by law, impersonate identities to commit fraud, create false endorsements, or disguise automated voiceovers as the true speech of others. Please appropriately label automatically generated content according to laws and usage scenarios, and verify outputs that may cause misunderstanding.
13.2 You shall not steal or share credentials, bypass membership and duration limits, replay payment notifications, forge deduction or balance records, attack interfaces, engage in malicious concurrency, or automate batch resource consumption. You shall not convert personal use accounts into commercial resale channels providing external interfaces; if there is indeed a need for integration or batch use, you must first obtain explicit authorization.
13.3 You shall not use malicious scripts to interfere with other users, or conduct unauthorized penetration, scanning, and destructive testing. Legally permitted interoperability research, vulnerability reporting, and consumer statutory rights are not automatically excluded by general prohibitive clauses. Upon discovering security issues, please report necessary information through formal channels privately, without first disclosing others' data or credentials usable for immediate attacks.
13.4 Measures for abnormal use shall be proportionate to the risk and may include rate limiting, additional verification, temporary suspension of specific features, and necessary account restrictions. Applications for review may be submitted in cases of erroneous identification or wrongful suspension. Without verification, we shall not directly attribute general network failures to abuse, nor shall we use restriction measures as a means to arbitrarily confiscate unrelated paid benefits.
XIV. Software Rights and Third-Party Relations
14.1 FoxDub's brand, original interface, code, and documentation are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited license to use the official software within the scope of applicable terms, but this does not confer ownership of the brand or eligibility for resale. Open-source or third-party materials are used subject to their respective valid licenses; we cannot cancel the lawful rights already granted to you under the original licenses via this Agreement.
14.2 YouTube, TikTok, PayPal, Google, Microsoft, Alibaba Cloud, and other names belong to their respective rights holders. Adaptation to platforms or invocation of services does not imply undisclosed official cooperative relationships between us and these entities. The content, access qualifications, and billing management of third-party websites are the responsibility of the corresponding entities; we remain liable for our acts of choosing and using third-party services as required by law.
14.3 Identification, translation, synthesis, and payment may rely on external interfaces. External rate limiting, interface changes, service termination, or network restrictions may trigger backup channels or cause temporary failures. Third parties should not thereby obtain your FoxDub password or complete account ledger; the actual content received and scope of processing by them shall comply with the Privacy Policy. When new providers cause substantial changes in data processing methods, necessary notification shall be provided in advance.
XV. Service Changes, Interruptions, and Termination
15.1 We may fix defects, update adaptations, adjust interfaces, or phase out third-party channels that can no longer be used. General updates do not guarantee permanent compatibility with all historical browser and website versions; when significant changes occur to core features or paid benefits, reasonable advance notice shall be given, and legally arranged alternatives, extensions, refunds, or other reasonable remedies shall be provided for purchased portions that can no longer be fulfilled.
15.2 Maintenance, network anomalies, third-party failures, and force majeure may interrupt the Service. We shall make reasonable efforts to mitigate impact, explain known situations, and handle session and payment records. Third-party failures do not automatically extinguish all obligations; whether exemption applies shall be determined based on actual causes, avoidability, notification and remedial measures, and applicable law.
15.3 You may stop using the Service and apply for cancellation in accordance with the law. When it is necessary to restrict or terminate an account due to illegal use, major abuse, statutory requirements, or security risks, reasons shall be explained within the scope permitted by law and appeal channels provided; emergency handling may take necessary measures first, followed by supplementary explanation. Upon overall termination of the Service, advance announcement shall be made in accordance with the law, and unfulfilled paid services, renewal authorizations, and personal information shall be handled.
XVI. Liability Assumption and Limitation Boundaries
16.1 Both parties shall bear liability for their respective breaches or torts in accordance with the law; the scope of liability shall be determined based on actual fault, causation, and legal provisions. Errors in automatic output, participation of third parties in processing, or user duties of care in use do not mean that we are exempt from liability for our obligations regarding account security, payment delivery, and information protection.
16.2 Within the scope permitted by law, service quality shall be judged based on the purpose of the auxiliary tool and reasonable expectations at the time of purchase. Purely speculative loss of profits, losses unrelated to the causal relationship with this Service, or losses caused entirely by independent third parties are not automatically borne by us. This Agreement does not exclude or limit liability for our intentional misconduct, gross negligence, personal injury, infringement of personal information that cannot be excluded by law, or consumer protection liabilities.
16.3 If you violate content rights, account, or interface rules, you shall bear corresponding liability for losses actually caused by you and for which you are legally responsible. We shall not demand that you bear full third-party claims unrelated to your behavior based on this Agreement, nor shall we indefinitely expand compensation, enforce mandatory deductions, or shift obligations to unconsenting third parties without legal verification.
16.4 This Agreement does not stipulate a fixed extremely low compensation cap, does not grant us so-called "final interpretation rights," nor does it pre-require you to waive litigation, complaints, or regulatory relief. In case of dispute over terms, they shall be interpreted in accordance with laws, fairness, and the principle of good faith; for standard form clauses, the rules regarding prompt explanation, invalid clauses, and interpretation against the drafter shall apply.
XVII. Versions, Notices, Law, and Dispute Resolution
17.1 This Agreement version is 1.0, updated on Beijing Time 2026-10-10. Updates will not automatically retroactively change prices you have already purchased or claims already accrued; you shall be able to identify the version and order descriptions applicable to disputed transactions.
17.2 For major adjustments to core services, fees, renewals, scope of liability, or personal information processing, we shall clearly explain them in appropriate ways such as official website announcements, product prompts, or necessary account notifications. Matters requiring your further confirmation by law cannot be based solely on "continuing to browse the website constitutes acceptance." If you disagree with major changes affecting existing paid services, you may request cessation, refund, or other reasonable handling in accordance with the law.
17.3 The formation and performance of this Agreement are governed by the applicable law determined in accordance with law; consumer and personal information protection regulations in your location shall not become ineffective due to cross-border service provision, language selection, or general clauses. Both parties may first negotiate through customer service; if negotiation fails, you reserve the right to seek relief from regulatory authorities, payment institutions, and courts with jurisdiction in accordance with law, without being required to bear unreasonable costs for defending your rights.
17.4 When individual clauses are legally deemed invalid or unenforceable, the remaining independently enforceable clauses continue to apply, but this cannot be used to retain arrangements that are unfair as a whole or violate mandatory provisions. The translation of the Agreement shall clearly state the language and version; in case of discrepancies, legal protection and the true intent of the transaction shall prevail, and differences in translation shall not be used to reduce rights and interests already effectively promised.
XVIII. Contact, Complaints, and Supporting Materials
18.1 The official FoxDub service website is https://www.foxdub.com. Service announcements, agreement updates, and public service information are subject to the content published on this website.
18.2 When making requests for processing, please specify the involved account, order number, approximate session time, problem description, and expected result. We may use risk-commensurate methods to verify account ownership to avoid leaking others' information; identity proofs or complete bank card details unrelated to the matter should not be requested. You shall provide necessary information truthfully and may redact unrelated content.
18.3 We shall promptly confirm receipt and explain the progress of verification. Complex matters, payment institution investigations, or evidence preservation required by law may require reasonable time; if extension is needed, reasons shall be explained rather than delaying indefinitely. Complaints, refund applications, or personal information rights requests shall not be grounds for reducing your other normal service rights.
